Normally a number is classified as being either a long distance call (toll call within the same country) or an international call and the provider/service defined for that class of call is used to place the call. Using the Internet Calling Overrides feature provides the ability to instruct PhoneGnome to identify calls to specific countries, specific regions within a country, or even specific numbers, and deliver those calls using a service other than the default service.
