FindMe/FollowMe
FindMe/FollowMe is an optional PhoneGnome feature.

Use FindMe/FollowMe to have calls follow you around.
  • Ring up to three additional numbers, plus your SoftGnome, all at the same time
  • Take the call on any of the ringing phones. The other phones stop ringing and the caller doesn't even know.
  • If none of those numbers are answered, Ring a last stop number.
  • If none of the numbers answer, the call will be delivered to voicemail (if enabled)

Enter up to three numbers in the Simultaneously Ring fields. These numbers will ring at the same time as your home phone, and SoftGnome (if enabled). Ringing phones other than free PhoneGnome compatible destinations requires activation of a Low Cost Internet Calling Service.

Answer the call at any of the ringing phones and the other phones stop ringing and the call completes to the answered phone. It is transparent to the caller -- they won't even know you're away from home.

Enter a number in the Last Stop field and if no one answers any of the simultaneously ringing phones, they all stop ringing and the Last Stop number will be called. If that number isn't answered, the call will be sent to Voicemail (if enabled).

Numbers should be entered as though dialed long-distance even for local calls (to cause them to be directed to the Internet Calling Service).

SIP Addresses may be used in any of the fields. A SIP address is like an email address for Internet standards-based free interoperable calling. They look like this: sip:user@domain.com (e.g. sip:johnsmith@proxy01.sipphone.com)

Note: FindMe/FollowMe is a premium service.
