MobileGnome lets one use their PhoneGnome features and calling plans from any phone.

Enter the phone number of the phone you wish to use to access PhoneGnome features (exactly as it is presented by the Caller-ID service on your home phone line) and then when you call your home number (the number connected to your PhoneGnome) instead of your phone ringing, PhoneGnome will answer and prompt for your PIN code. Upon acceptance of the valid PIN (the same PIN used to sign in to the My PhoneGnome site), PhoneGnome will present a dial tone and allow you to dial, just as if you were at home.

Placing outgoing calls to other than free PhoneGnome compatible destinations requires activation of a Low Cost Internet Calling Service.

Another way to use this feature if you do not have Caller-ID service on your home phone line is to enable the free PhoneGnome Voicemail feature and then when you call you number, let the PhoneGnome Voicemail answer, and during the outgoing message, press 0 (zero). You will be prompted for your PIN and can then use the MobileGnome feature to place an outgoing call, as above.

Enter "*" for the calling number to cause MobileGnome to be triggered for ALL incoming calls (i.e. useful if you have a dedicated number used only for MobileGnome pass-thru dialing).
